In its 26th year, TUgis is the premier conference for GIS professionals, students, and scholars. TUgis 2013 marks a pivotal moment in the conference’s history as we transition to a new designation as Maryland’s Geospatial Conference. In addition to the name change, we’re also refocusing on the program to underscore the most essential elements of the conference. The conference will emphasize sharing – of ideas, of data, and of energy. The opening session will feature geospatial activities in state and county government agencies. Throughout the day, there will be three concurrent sessions with a variety of formats – 90-minute hands-on workshops, paper presentations, poster presentations, and lightning sessions.
